How to Manage Your Server Listing
Guide to editing your listing, uploading banners, updating tags and versions, deleting, and re-submitting after changes.
Once your server is listed, you can manage it anytime from your dashboard. This guide covers everything you can edit and how to do it.
Accessing Your Servers
- Sign in to your account.
- Go to your dashboard.
- You’ll see a table of all your servers with their current status, review state, player count, uptime, and vote count.
Editing Your Server
Click Edit on any server in your dashboard to open the server form. You can update any of the following:
Server Name
The display name shown on your listing. If you change the name, your server’s slug (URL) is automatically regenerated, so your listing URL may change.
WARNING: Existing links and bookmarks to the old URL will keep working, until someone else reclaims your previously used slug.
Edition
Switch between Java, Bedrock, or Crossplay. See our guide to editions for details on what each option means.
Address and Port
Update the server’s connection address (IP or domain) and port. The default port is 25565 for Java and 19132 for Bedrock. For Crossplay, you can set separate Bedrock address and port fields.
Ping Region
Optionally specify which region should be used for regular health-check pings. Leave blank for “Auto” (lowest latency region).
Description
Your server’s pitch. Write a clear, engaging description that explains what makes your server unique. Let your server shine, but don’t let the text get too long - this is the main text players read on your detail page.
Tags
Select up to 15 tags that describe your server. Tags determine which gamemode and tag pages your server appears on. Choose the most relevant ones - don’t tag your server with modes it doesn’t actually offer.
Available tags currently are: TODO
Versions
Select which Minecraft versions your server supports. This helps players find servers compatible with their client. Use the version picker to add or remove supported versions.
Banner
Upload a new banner image or remove the existing one.
Requirements:
- Maximum file size: 5 MB
- Accepted formats: JPEG, PNG, WebP, GIF
- Dimensions: 64px to 4096px on each side
The banner is displayed on server cards and used as the social preview image when your listing is shared.
Website and Discord
Add or update your website URL and Discord invite link. These appear as icon links on your server’s detail page.
Deleting Your Server
To permanently delete a server:
- Go to your dashboard.
- Find the server you want to delete.
- Click the delete button.
- Confirm the deletion in the dialog.
Deleting a server is permanent and removes all associated data, including pings, votes, tags, and version associations. This cannot be undone.
Re-submitting After Changes
When you edit your server, most changes take effect immediately on your listing. However:
- If your server was rejected, making changes and saving will re-submit it for review. An admin will review it again, typically within 24 hours.
- If your server is pending, saving updates the pending submission. The admin will see the latest version when reviewing.
- If your server is approved, changes go live immediately. There’s no re-approval needed for approved servers.
You can check your server’s review state in the dashboard - it shows as “Pending”, “Approved”, or “Rejected” for each server.

Claiming a Server You Don’t Own
If your server was listed by someone else and you want to take ownership, you can claim it via DNS verification. See our guide to claiming your server for step-by-step instructions.
Tips
- Keep your tags accurate - if you add a new gamemode, add the tag so you appear on that gamemode page. If you remove a gamemode, remove the tag.
- Update versions after Minecraft updates - when a new Minecraft version releases, add it to your supported versions if your server is compatible.
- Refresh your description periodically - mention new features, events, or seasonal content to keep your listing engaging.
- Monitor uptime - if you notice your uptime dropping, investigate and fix the issue before it impacts your ranking.
