How to Add Your Minecraft Server

A step-by-step guide to listing your Minecraft server on our server list, from creating an account to getting approved and claiming your server.

Listing your server on our server list is free and takes just a few minutes. Follow the steps below to get your server in front of thousands of players looking for their next favorite community.

Step 1: Create an Account

Head to the sign-up page and register with your email and a username. Your account lets you manage your server listings, track stats, and customize your profile.

If you already have an account, just sign in instead.

Step 2: Add Your Server

Once signed in, go to your dashboard and click “Add Server”. You’ll need to provide:

• Server name - the display name players will see.
• Address - the IP or domain name players connect to (e.g. play.example.net).
• Port - usually 25565 for Java Edition and 19132 for Bedrock Edition. Leave blank if you’re using the default.
• Description - a short pitch for your server. Be concise and try to make your server stand out from others!
• Tags - choose gamemodes and features that describe your server (Survival, PvP, Skyblock, etc.).
• Versions - select which Minecraft versions your server supports.
• Banner (optional) - upload a banner image to make your listing stand out.

Step 3: Wait for Approval

All new submissions are reviewed by our team before appearing publicly. This usually takes less than 24 hours. We check that:

• The server address is reachable and responding to pings.
• The name and description follow our community guidelines.
• The server isn’t already listed under a different account.

You can check the status of your submission in your dashboard.

Step 4: Promote Your Server

Once approved, make the most of your listing:

• Add a banner - servers with banners get more clicks.
• Encourage votes - ask your community to vote daily. Higher votes mean better ranking.
• Use the vote widget - embed a vote button or status badge on your own website. See the widget generator for ready-to-use snippets.
• Keep your info updated - edit your server details anytime from the dashboard.
